Japan's cities, towns and prefectures can each make their own rules, called ordinances. This quiz shows one ordinance at a time that exists only in one place, and you pick the place from four choices.
After you choose, the answer shows the ordinance's name, when it took effect, what it does and whether it has a penalty, with a link to the official page of the city or prefecture and the place on a map. Every question was checked on its official source.
