Dot colours show the type of transport (rail, air, city transport, ferry). Upcoming strikes are in colour; strikes that have ended or were called off are grey.
A dot with a dashed ring is a strike that affects the whole country (all trains, all airports, and so on). The dot sits roughly in the middle of the country, not at a particular station or airport.
"Announced" means a strike notice or call exists. "Confirmed by operator" means the operator has published its service forecast.
We only write when, where and what stops. We do not describe the reasons for a strike, its demands or who called it. Only strikes confirmed by operators, governments or reliable news reports are shown, and nothing is shown without a source.
Services can change at short notice. Always check the operator's official travel information before you go.
